Our very first Gourd Float Race at last week’s Summer Celebration was a huge success! The winner, Jennifer (number 009), won this gourd pictured below along with $100! It took about 55 minutes for the gourds to get from the bridge to the finish line. We had 74 gourds entered, so we will be able to donate $370.00 to the Big Spring Food Bank. Thank you to all that participated! We hope for this race to become a Meadowbrooke tradition!

We hope everyone had a fantastic Fourth of July Weekend!! We are sailing into July with our new Sailboat gourd. It is natural in color with a sailboat cut -out.
